Ina Mae Maggard, age 82 of Delaware died Thursday evening, October 4, 2001 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 27, 1919 in Delaware to the late Clarence E. Butts and Grace Marie (Ashbrook) Angus. Lifelong resident of Delaware. She had worked as a secretary for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Delaware office. Member of Delaware Assembly of God, now Church of the King, and the Delaware Business & Professional Women’s Club. When able, she enjoyed singing, playing the piano and her accordion while entertaining the residents in the Delaware area nursing homes.

Survived by Sons: Ronald E. Taylor of Sacramento, CA, Donald Maggard of Gaithersburg, MD, Daughter: Sharon Maggard Palm of Milwaukee, WI, 5 Grandchildren, Several great-grandchildren, Brother & Sister-in-law: Gene E. & Ruth Angus of Delaware.

Proceeded in death by Stepfather: Charles E. Angus and a Brother: Donald Butts.

Friends may call Sunday 2-4 at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where funeral services will follow Sunday at 4:00 p.m., Pastor Jason Phelps officiating. Graveside committal services will be held Monday 10:00 am in Oak Grove Cemetery.
