Ida Mae Pierce, 71, of 207 N. Liberty Street, Galion, died Saturday, September 17, 2005 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a long illness.

Born November 6, 1933 in Dezark, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Ervin Kindler and Clara Sherman Kindler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Pierce.

She was a homemaker and is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rita and Doug Ezekiel of Oklahoma, Rebecca and Bob Nichols of Oklahoma and Regina Schreck of Galion; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Kathy Beeman and Ervin and Andrea Beeman both of Galion; 11 grandchildren;15 great grandchildren; four sisters, Grace L. Harvey of Galion, Opal A. Branham of Loveland, Betty E. Baldinger of Mt. Gilead and Yvonne A. Kindler of Mt. Gilead and a brother, Frank A. Kindler of Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Frank Richard and Daniel Lee Beeman; two brothers, Orville Kindler and Edwin Kindler and two sisters, Jackie Kindler and Louis Mae Kindler.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home and a Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, at Crawford County Memory Gardens with Dena Samples officiating. Interment will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
