Icie Luellen Anderson Elliott age, 88 of Sunbury, slipped away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 30, 2017. A native of Robbinsville, NC, born in Graham County, Cheoah Township, to the late Wilburn Riley Anderson and Dolly Rich, on, June 29, 1928.

Mom loved the Lord and enjoyed talking about Him and all that He has done for her and her family. She was very patriotic and never missed an opportunity to argue politics with us. Her most prized possession was spending time with her family, and enjoyed looking at pictures and photo albums of new and old pictures.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Samuel Fowler Elliott, brother, Ronald L. Rich, and grandson, Jonathan V. Elliott.

She is survived by; 3 children, Lowell F. (Vickie) Elliott of Delaware, Keith L. (Alice) Elliott of Sunbury, Stanley V. (Janet) Elliott of Lima, Ohio, brothers, Clyde (Myrlene) Anderson and Larry (Bobbi) Anderson of Marietta, South Carolina, seven grandchildren, Lori (Rick) Cook, Tracy (Joel) Engle, Kimberly (Chris) Slane, Jason Elliott, Melonie (Alan) McCaulley, Ashley (Travis) Capps and Samuel Elliott, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call on the family on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 7-9 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074.  Funeral services will be held there on Friday at 1 PM with Pastor Frank Carl officiating.   Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in the Mausoleum.
