Hoy E. Fisher  78 of Ashley passed away Sunday November 12, 2017 at Grady Memorial Hospital, after a short battle with Pneumonia.

He was born August 27th 1939  in Mt. Gilead Ohio, the son of the late Hoy & Florence (Tillman) Fisher. Hoy later retired as a lineman for the C&O Railroad Compnay, was a lifelong member of the Lewis Center Free Will Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are sons Keith (Jennifer), Brian Fisher; nephew Tony (Ternia) Walker; grandchildren Amber Marie Gordon and Alissa Gail Kunce; brothers Carl Fisher of Arizona, David (Debbie) Fisher of Oklahoma; Charles (Jatonda) Fisher of Mansfield, Bill (Doris) Fisher of Centerburg; sisters Jeanette Fisher of Cardington, Myrtle Honaker of Marengo.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan G. Fisher in 2013, brothers John, Don, and James Fisher, sister Jean Fisher.

Hoy was a talented musician, guitarist, and vocalist, he was also a talented artist. He enjoyed collecting trains, and had an extensive collection of hats and watches. His greatest pride was his family, they will miss the humble and kind man that he was.

A memorial service will take place 4:00 p.m. Saturday November 18, 2017 at the Lewis Center Free Will Baptist Church 1329 Church Street, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed towards the Lewis Center Free Will Baptist Church.
