Howard D. Mosher
March 26, 1945 ‒ June 27, 2005
Howard D. Mosher, age 60, of Marengo, died early Monday morning, June 27, 2005, at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus, following a 12 year battle against Leukemia.
He was born in Marengo on March 25, 1945 to the late Bryant L. and Ida Ilene (Hardman) Mosher. A lifelong area resident, he was a graduate of Highland High School Class of 1964. He worked for 39 years as an assembler for Whirlpool Corp. in Marion. A true horseman at heart, he was a member of the Central Ohio Draft Horse Assoc, Mid-West Draft Horse & Mule Assoc., Area Horse in Harness, and Marengo United Methodist Church.
Survived by his loving wife Doris L. (Grabiel) Mosher, whom he married October 2, 1964 in Mt. Vernon, Sons: Christopher of Green Camp, George (Jennifer) of Sparta, Robert Mosher of Fulton, Grandchildren: Lashaun, Matthew, Bryce, Blake, Jazmin, Natalie, Brother: Leroy (Jackie) Mosher of Marengo, Sisters: Alta Belle Carver of Marengo and Karen (Tony) Ramirez of Freemont.
Friends may call Thursday 4-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, in Sunbury. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at Marengo United Methodist Church with Pastor Rob Musick officiating. A horse drawn wagon and funeral cortege will follow to Marengo Cemetery for burial.
