Helen M. Campbell, age 92, of South Main St., Fredericktown passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on October 29, 1921 in Grove City, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Harriet (Brown) Bartley. Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Slippery Rock College in Pennsylvania where she earned her teaching degree. She was employed as a substitute teacher in the Fredericktown School System and also served as a Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Campbell loved to sing and was a member of the Harmonettes at the United Presbyterian Church in Harrisville, Pennsylvania. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church here in Fredericktown.

She is survived by two daughters, Jean Campbell of Fredericktown, Carol (Craig) Strater of Bellville; her son Robert L. Campbell of Fredericktown; two grandchildren, Eric (Amanda) Strater, Casey Strater; and a very special person that Helen considered a daughter, Rebecca Pariseau.

Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Campbell; her sister Evelyn Critchlow; and two brothers, Earl and Frank Bartley.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2-3PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A service will follow beginning at 3PM. A private burial will take place at Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville, Pennsylvania.
