Helen Long, age 90, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Colonial Manor in Loudonville, Ohio after a sudden illness.  She was born on March 23, 1930 in Lewisburg, Ohio to the late O.J. and Martha VanCamp.

Helen graduated from Lewisburg High School in the class of 1948 and married her late husband Earl “Jesse” Long on May 2, 1953. She worked at Flxible Co. for a number of years before becoming the office manager for Dr. Kuttothara in Loudonville.  Helen enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family.

Helen is survived by her sons, Gary (Mindy) Long of Ashland, Brian (Edie) Long of Florida; daughter, Carla (Marty) Stull of Perrysville; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Stull, Jamie (Megan) Stull, Jessica (Jay) Collins, Nancy Long Brysen Long, Brayden Long, Brantyn Long, Jillian Derr, Whitney Derr; five great-grandchildren, Colton Stull, Easton Stull, Jayda Cline, Haley Collins, Kate Collins; a brother, Robert (Margaret) VanCamp; several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Brenda Long, Wendee Long.

Along with her husband and parents, Helen is preceded in death by her brother, Michael VanCamp.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in Loudonville Cemetery at 11 AM.  Pastor Kathleen Walkerow will be officiating.
