Helen Fadely, 91, of Galion, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at Woodside Village in Mt. Gilead.
Born Sept. 6, 1917 in Bucyrus, she was the daughter of the late Dave Bauer and Edna Marie Ferrall Bauer. She was preceded in death on Dec. 1, 2006 by her husband, George Fadely whom she married on Aug. 30, 1940.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1935. She was a member of First United Church of Christ and American Legion Scarbrough Post 243, Auxiliary. She was happy being at home and with her family. She worked at North Electric and Galion High School cafeteria.
Surviving are three daughters and one son-in-law, Sandy and Tom Hetzel of Iberia, Bev Price of Boca Raton, Fla. and Judy Grafton of Galion; one son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Paula Fadely of Pompano Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Carol Love, Betty Taylor and Martha Johnson.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, with Pastor Brad Smith officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery at a later date.
