Heather Kay Cook 43, of Marion passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 10, 2018 at her residence.
She was born September 3, 1974 in Sandusky, Ohio the daughter of Tim & Linda (Cook) Williamson.
Heather worked as a Coordinator for Support Care of Ohio in Delaware, and attended Delaware City Vineyard Church.
In addition to her parents she is survived by children Scott Eric Hare, Ricky (Tori Andrix) Hess, Paul “Storm” (Donna Larsen) Hess, and Samantha (Eddie Jones) Marks; grandchildren Braylie Marks, Kaydence Hare, Scottlyn Hare, Bradley Marks Jr., Owen Hess, Oliver Hess, Madison and Avianna; brothers Levi (Tessa), Chaise (Danielle), and Breck (Megan) Williamson; sister Mindy “Marie” (Gary) Moffatt; nephew Hunter “turdbird” Moffatt; beloved dog Dixie.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Albert and Marge Hursey.
Heather helped start a program through Andrew’s House, for women released from jail, she provided counseling and support for drug addicted woman. Heather had a passion for spending time with her grandchildren, drawing, and doodling, planting flowers, and growing her faith in the Lord. She was a strong woman, some would even call her a survivor, she was determined in anything that she did. She loved her children dearly and enjoyed the time spent with them and her grandchildren.
Pastor Rob Morgan will officiate funeral services 5:00 p.m Friday January 19, 2018. Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards the funeral home to help assist the family with expenses.
