Hazel Pauline Cline, age 100, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017 at the home of her sister-in-law, Violet Cline McNamara.

She was born on January 2, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Frank and Gertrude (Wheeler) Cline and lived in the North Linden Area.

The family moved to Harlem Township in Delaware County and Hazel graduated from Center Village High School in 1935.  She worked for Merle Norman Cosmetics for several years, then took a job with F & R Lazarus Company, eventually retiring from there after more than twenty years.

Hazel never married and lived most of her life in the Columbus/Worthington Area.  She was a long-time member of the North Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law, Violet McNamara and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her younger brother Howard Earnest “Andy” Cline.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11 AM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074.  Burial will follow at Sunbury Memorial Park next to her parents.  Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions, may be made to the American Heart Association.
