Hazel M. Beach, 82, formerly of 7366 State Route 19, Mt. Gilead, died Wednesday, Apr. 18, 2007 at Morrow County Hospital Extended Care where she has resided for the last three years.

Born Dec. 16, 1924 in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late William Taylor and Vera Garverick Taylor. She was preceded in death on Apr. 19, 1992 by her husband, Forest L. “Red” Beach whom she married on Nov. 20, 1942.

She attended Galion High School and was a member of Pines Christian Church in Mt. Gilead. She was a housewife, loving mother and grandmother. She loved her flowers, gardening, collecting monkeys and Elvis memorabilia.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Harold Pfleiderer and Sharon and Richard Maley of Galion; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Marlene Beach of Mt. Gilead; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dean Taylor of Galion and Donald and Ruth Taylor of Nevada, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by one son, Harry Beach and one brother, Wayne Taylor.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Apr. 20, 2007 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 21, with Evangelist Neil Gilliland officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.
