Harriett Lucille Milla, age 92 of Delaware died Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2001 at Wesley Glen Health Center, Worthington.

She was born October 8, 1909 in Delaware to the late Fred & Nellie (Ashbrook) Bell. Graduate of Bellepoint High School and a lifelong Delaware resident.

Harriett married Henry Milla in 1932, he preceded in death in 1952.

She owned and operated New Method Dry Cleaners and Launderers in Delaware, first with her husband and then with her son, for a total of 53 years, from 1939 until she retired in 1992.

Duringer her professional life she was a member of Delaware Altursa Chapter, Women’s City Club, and Delaware Country Club.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: Vic Milla and Julia Freiburger, Daughter & Son-in-law: Joan and Ted Machock, of California, 5 Grandchildren: Karen Asbury, David Milla, Tamara Thomas, Peter Thomas, Matt Thomas, 5 Great-Grandchildren: Anthony & Skyler Milla, Christopher Asbury, Tiffany and Brittany Thomas.

Brothers: Wymond Bell of Westerville, Earl (Dorothy) Bell of Johnstown, Kermit Bell of Long Beach, CA, Wood (Cathy) Bell of Marion, Sister: Ellen Vaughn of Westerville.

Friends may call Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., (SR 36), Delaware, where funeral services will be held Thursday 3:00 p.m., Rev. David Milla officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
