Harold “Pete” Webb, age 94 of Sunbury passed away Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2020 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.

A farmer, Pete was bound to the earth from the day of his birth. He was also a devoted and faithful member of the New Bethel Christian Union Church in Croton.

Survived by his daughter, Susan (Kevin) Kretschmer of Powell and his son, Roger Webb of Sunbury.

In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Christine, sons Daniel and Mike Webb and infant son Stephen.

Private family services will be held and interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery in Johnstown. A public celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Pete’s memory may be made to the New Bethel Christian Union Church, 14144 Bethel Rd, Croton, OH 43013.

  • I got to know the Webbs many years ago as customers of the appliance store where I worked. Later, I would come across Pete and enjoyed talking with him. He was always willing to discuss world issues and farm life. Rest well friend. Sympathy to all of you.
