Harold Michael “Bear” Crosby, age 63 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield.

He was born on October 9, 1955 in New York.

Harold made his home in Marion with his wife Jackie. He loved listening to classic rock-n-roll, the louder the better! He was known to be an excellent DJ, and played at many weddings and other parties. Harold’s all-time favorite holiday was Halloween and he could always be found with his faithful companion, his dog Wolfie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Crosby; his children: Nikki (Donald, III) Eaton and Clayton (Amber) Cagle; grandchildren: Logan Eaton, Lillian Eaton, Larry Malone, Ryker Cagle and Ariella Cagle.

A celebration of Bear’s life will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Boys and Girls Club of Marion, 565 Oak Street, Marion from 12PM to 4PM. Bear would want for everyone to come dressed comfortable. There will be a cook out of hamburgers and hot dogs, friends are welcome to bring their favorite dish.

  • I am saddened by the loss of Harry Crosby. I became friends with him about a year ago when I joined his rock group. Harry had a great sense of humor. He always talked to me about his family and his dog and how much he loved them . My sincere condolences to the family. Harry will truly be missed and there will always be a place in my heart for him.   • Harold “Harry” was a great loyal Facebook friend. We might even be cousin’s , Harry and I had talked about our Crosby family tree’s all thou I still don’t know if we were related I still think of him as a cousin. My condolences go out to his family.
