Glenda L. Waldron, age 70, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on February 2, 1947 in Hamden, Ohio the daughter of Chester and Edna (McManus) Nickell.

Glenda and her husband Roy were most commonly known in the area as Bubbles and Banjo the Clowns. They served as entertainment for a variety of events including; Food For The Hungry of Mount Vernon and Knox County for the last 20 years, many of Big Bear corporate events across Ohio and numerous birthday parties and family gatherings. Whether in costume or out of costume, Glenda had that fun loving and happy personality that so many people endeared. She will be sadly missed.

Besides her mother, Glenda is survived by her husband Roy Waldron, whom she married on September 20, 1968, twin sons; Ryan Waldron of Mount Vernon and Rodney (Cindy) Waldron of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren, Kayla Waldron and Brandon Waldron; a brother, Keith (Latisha) Nickell of Hamden, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor LJ Harry will be officiating. The family will observe a private graveside service.
