Georgia V. Finical, 90, of 159 Clay St., Galion, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007 at Galion Community Hospital.

Born May 24, 1917 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Avery and Lillian Thoman Crawford. She was preceded in death on Oct. 7, 1991 by her husband, Vere C. Finical whom she married on May 24, 1949. She was previously married to Dewey S. Kintz and he preceded her in 1943.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. In addition to being a homemaker, she and her second husband owned three businesses, the Galion Bowling Center, Galion Mobile Home Court from 1961 to the 1980’s and an ice creme/sundae shop on North East Street.

Surviving are her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dewey E. “Bud” and Huynh T. “Suzanne” Kintz of Galion and Robert D. “Bob” Kintz of Columbus; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Quinn; two infant sons and one granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday Oct. 8, 2007 at Fairview Cemetery, Galion, with Rev. James Randas officiating. At her request, private calling hours are being held for her family at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home.
