George R. Worner

George R. Worner passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was 55.

He was born November 27, 1959 in Richland County to Russel and Barbara (Rinehart) Worner. George graduated from Clear Fork High School with the class of 1978. He then went on the join the family business.

In spare time, he enjoyed morel mushroom hunting and keeping busy as a handy man. But above all he looked forward to the yearly trips to the family cabin in Pennsylvania.

George is survived by his son Rusty Carpenter; his father Russel Worner; siblings Ralph Worner, Carol (Keith) Bechtal, Joe Worner, Patti (Ralph) Fry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara in 2011.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11:00 am in Bellville Cemetery.  Then a memorial service will be held in George’s memory Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Bellville AMVETS Post 43.
