BELLVILLE: George M. Brewer, 62, of Main Street, Bellville, died Friday morning, June 8, 2007 in Riverside Methodist Hospital following a short illness.
He was born November 11, 1944 in Butler to Edward and Margaret (Noe) Brewer, and remained a lifelong area resident.
George worked at Hi-Lo Trailer Company for 42 years both wiring and building chassis, and was dearly loved by his co-workers.
He enjoyed visiting with family, especially his nieces and nephews whom he adored, and trips to the country.
George was a loyal Browns and Indians fan. He was blessed with a wonderful gift of memory, and could recall stats of his favorite players. He dearly loved music and preferred listening to
The Ohio State Marching Band.
He will be sadly missed by his three sisters and brothers-in-law Wilma and David Heffelfinger of Loudonville, Marlene and Phil Heffelfinger of Conneaut, and Margaret Sparks of Perrysville; and two brothers and sisters-in-law Ronald and Gayle Brewer of Ontario, and Denis and Nancy Brewer of Findlay; a half sister Genalee Wolf of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Gertrude Tackett, and a brother Robert Brewer.
Friends may call Sunday, June 10, 2007 from 2 – 5 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am. Pastor Larry McCabe will officiate and burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation may be made at the funeral home.
