George E. “Bud” Lacey

MANSFIELD: George Elmer “Bud” Lacey, formerly of Garland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Crystal Care Center of Mansfield. He was 81.
Born February 16, 1931 in Crawford County, he was the son of George and Golda (Perman) Lacey and was graduated from Crestline High School in 1949. George served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, with the 814th Air Police Squadron, honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant.
He is survived by his children George R. “Buddy” & Debbie Lacey, Edward Lacey and Pamela Lacey all of Florida; two granddaughters; sisters and a brother-in-law Gloria Gall and Linda & Jack Bosko all of Mansfield and a brother and sister-in-law Keith & Darlene Lacey of Bellville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann (Tissen) Lacey; sisters Beverly Guegold, Dixie Kimes and Shirley Eckert and a brother Richard Lacey.
