Gennie L. Decker, 79, of Delaware passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born December 25, 1934 in Winfield, West Virginia to Robert Wilson and Erma (Whittington) Fisher.

She had worked at the Del-Co Drive Thru and the Salvation Army. She enjoyed birds and visiting with friends. When younger, she raised chickens and showed them at the fair.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lester Lee Niebert of Marion; brothers, Charles (Mary Jane) Fisher of Ashley and James (Marie) Fisher of Marengo; sisters, Minnie Turner of Delaware and Daisy Smith of Gallipolis; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers Russell, Robert, and Ralph Fisher and 3 sisters Tiny, Betty, and Nancy.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 16th from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street, Delaware. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
