Violet Geneva Fuller, age 92 of Marengo, passed away Tuesday morning, August 7th, 2018 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mount Gilead. Geneva was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late J. Frank and Mary (Clark) Roberts.  Geneva was a longtime Marengo area resident and a graduate of the Marengo High School Class of 1943. She married her high school sweetheart Alex Fuller with whom she shared 71 wonderful years until his death April 4th, 2015.

Geneva was a perfect farmer’s wife; cooking wonderful meals for her husband and the farm hands, and keeping a beautiful home. She had a God-given talent for art, and painting, exhibiting her paintings and winning awards. Geneva was a longtime member of the Marengo United Methodist Church.

Geneva will be greatly missed by her loving family. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma, and Great-grandma. She is survived by son Don Fuller of Marengo; daughter Connie (Jim) Griffith of Marengo; grandchildren Jim (Tina) Griffith, Jonathan Griffith, Justina (Mike) Keckler; great grandchildren Bud Hamilton, Cassandra Griffith, and Rachel and Emily Keckler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Frank and Carl Roberts, and her sister Mary June McKay, and husband  Alex. Private graveside services will be held for the family and calling hours will not be observed.
