Gary W. Hall, age 72, of Eden Ave. Fredericktown, died Wednesday afternoon, September 24, 2003, at the Med Central Hospital in Mansfield. He was born May 18, 1931, in Pennsville, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph Irvin and Wauneta (Williams) Hall and had been a Fredericktown resident since 1961. He was a 1950 graduate of Millersburg High School and had attended Ohio University and the Ohio State University. Mr. Hall had been owner of R I G Drilling. He was a member of the Fredericktown First Presbyterian Church and had served the church as deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher. He had been troop leader of Boy Scout Troop 342 in Fredericktown and was a member of the Stockport Masonic Lodge and a York Rite Mason and past Commander. Mr. Hall had served the community as a Morris Township Trustee, a board member of Fredericktown Local Schools and was currently President of Fredericktown Village Council.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Barbara (Hunter) Hall, daughter Lisa (Eric) Dilts of Fredericktown, son Brent (Gina) Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada, grandchildren Logan and Morgan Dilts and Joseph and Dylan Hall, 2 brothers Royal (LaDonna) Hall of Mount Vernon and Brent (Jean) Hall of Bellvue, Florida and his mother-in-law Mary Hunter of Mount Vernon.

The family will receive friends at the Hall home on Saturday from 2 PM until 5 PM and a memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 PM in the Fredericktown First Presbyterian Church.
