Gary G. Gale, age 58 of Delaware, died unexpectedly Saturday morning June 9, 2007 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

He was born on April 21, 1949 in Delaware to the late Harley and Wilma (Hill) Gale. He was a retired foreman with Ranco Controls in Delaware with 21 years of service. Member of Sacred Hearts Parish in Cardington.

Gary enjoyed woodworking, watching This Old House and New Yankee Workshop and building things like Norm on the shows. He also enjoyed planning trips and traveling and had just this past summer traveled to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. He also enjoyed his monthly card games with “The Boys”.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 28 years: Kay (Bible) Gale and they were married August 3, 1979 in Cardington; daughter: Mary (Jason Jones) of Delaware; brother: Robert Harry Gale of Omaha, Neb; half brother: Denzil Gale of Utah; Father-in-law: Sheldon Bible of Marengo; faithful companions: Muffie, Rolo, Sophie, Ibbie, Miss Honey and Petie.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William Street (SR 36) Delaware where a Rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Hearts Church, 4680 SR 42, Cardington, Monsignor Charles Foeller celebrant. Interment services will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the St Mary Cemetery, Delaware.
