Gale Dawn Robinson, age 62, of Mount Vernon passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2020.

She was born on August 19, 1958 in Mount Vernon to the late Harold and Myrtle (Johnson) Van Houten.  Gale retired as the Charge Master Coordinator at the Knox Community Hospital and also as a Medic for Delaware County.

Gale is survived by her sons, Gordon (Sarah) Robinson, Eugene Robinson; her granddaughter Avery Denman; her nephew Nick (Brit) Van Houten; her great niece Anysten Van Houten; her great nephew Nicksen Van Houten; her beloved friend Jane Gruber; and her canine companion Sadie.

In addition to her parents, Gale was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Van Houten; and her brothers Neil and Dick Van Houten.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 3-4PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.  A service will follow, beginning at 4PM, with Pastor Ken Kinley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1699 W. Mound St. Columbus, Ohio 43223.

We just never know when we have come full circle. She was so full of life and love, laugher and good conversation. She was such a caring soul and a great co worker at Delaware County EMS.
