Gail A. Lyman, age 50 of Delaware died Friday evening, December 20, 2002 at Delaware Court Health Care Center.

He was born on August 4, 1952 in Mt. Gilead to the late Dean E. Lyman and Dolores J. Galloway Lyman of Mt. Gilead. Graduate of Mt. Gilead High School Class of 1970, where he was a former Boy Scout. He worked for 20 years at Flexible Corp. in Delaware as a supervisor and most recently as an automotive salesman for Carriage Town Chrysler of Delaware.

Gail moved to Delaware in 1977 from Mt. Gilead, was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mt. Gilead and attended the Delaware Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting and restoring his favorite car, a 1965 Ford Mustang.

In addition to his mother of Mt. Gilead he is also survived his wife: Arlene (Brown) Lyman, whom he married March 7, 1976, Daughter: Heather (Robert) Beneke of Rodney, MI, Son: Curt Lyman of Delaware, Grandson: Jacob Beneke and Step-granddaughter: Kyla Beneke, and a Brother: Steve Lyman of Columbus, and other extended family members.

His father preceded him in death on January 14, 2001

Friends may call Monday 4-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. (SR 36), Delaware, where funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m., Pastor Tim Dodge officiating. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville.
