G. Lucille Sautter, 90, of 7974 Canaan-Washington Twp. Rd. 9, Galion, died Monday, January 5, 2004 at Magnolia Terrace, Galion, after an extended illness.
Born April 2, 1913 in Marion, she was the daughter of the late John A. Fisher and Frances S. Hall Fisher. She was preceded in death February 12, 1994 by her husband Albert Sautter. They were married October 11, 1933.
She was a graduate of Graduate of Iberia H.S. 1931, and a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She is a former Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday school teacher; a former member of Lutheran Daughters and Adult Fellowship and she belonged to the Sarah Circle at church. She was a charter member of Capital University Mothers Club; a charter member of Bluebell TWIG of Morrow County Hospital; the Friendly Neighbors Farm Bureau Council; a former member of Washington Township Farm Bureau Council; the Morrow County Farm Bureau and Citizens Against Polluting the Environment; a former 4H Leader and member of Morrow County Farm Bureau Womens Organization.
Surviving are her daughter, Jean Moke, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roland Sautter, of Galion and Jack and Nora Sautter, of Sun City West, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Longacre, of Wesleco, Texas and a brother and sister-in-law, John E. and Helen Fisher, of Galion.
She was also preceded by a grandson, Dale Sautter.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 8, at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 9, at Peace Lutheran Church, with Rev. Alan Schwochow officiating. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
