Fred K. Williams, 69, of 217 S. Pierce St., Galion, died Friday, Mar. 9, 2007, after an accidental fall in Galion.
Born July 26, 1937 in Caledonia, he was the son of the late Altie and Lena Hale Williams. He is survived by his wife, Ima B. Shuey Williams, whom he married on Oct. 14, 1972.
He worked construction for most of his life. He was also self-employed and had his own painting company, Fred Williams Painting. He worked for Eldridge Acrylic in Mansfield and was a caretaker for Dr. Tony and Pat Rondon. He was a hard worker and loved his family. He liked camping and fishing. He also enjoyed working in his garden, indoor plants and doing yard work.
He is survived by one son, Fred Buck Williams, Jr. of Elba, Ala.; three daughters and one son-in-law, Christina Williams of Bucyrus, Grace Cookie Mc Farland of Mt. Gilead and Candi and Chris Cuffman of New Washington; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, John and Shirley Williams of Bucyrus, Orville and Ann Williams of Bucyrus, Johnny and Marlene Williams of Galion; four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Ann and Cruse Campo of Mansfield, Fran and Don Poast, Wilda and Gene Woodgard and Evelyn and John Phiefer, all of Galion.
He was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Sharleen Sharky Harris.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2007 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, with Pastor Mike Mikels officiating. Burial will be in Crawford County Memorial Gardens.
