Frank E. Flecknoe, age 82, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 9, 1934 in Mount Vernon, Ohio the son of George and Mabel (Frye) Flecknoe Sr. Frank previously worked at FT Precision in Fredericktown.

He is survived by his children, Gloria Maresca, Brenda Eggert, Jackie Carpenter, Angela Bowers, David Gregory, Peggy (Ed) Smith, Pamela (Ron) Carruthers, Julie (Robert) Cockrell and Frank Lewis, 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, a great great grandson and four sisters, Irene Frank, Mary Styers, Pat (Tom) Carpenter and Frances (Ed) Schlairet.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, George Flecknoe Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Mound View Cemetery with Pastor Patrick Bailey officiating. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Frank E. Flecknoe.
