BELLVILLE: Frances Fields, age 67, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield.

She was born January 2, 1950 to parents Carl Lester & Frances Inez (Scott) Weir in Corpus Christi, Texas. After Fran graduated high school, she attended college and earned the designation of CIC, certified insurance counselor.

Fran was a go-getter as an executive for Zurich Insurance where she worked for many years. She was very polished and professional in all aspects of her life. She wore stylish outfits complimented with the perfect accessories and touch of makeup.

Fran met Jeffrey Fields through a mutual friend and when she knew he was the one she wasted no time and proposed to him! The happy couple married May 3, 1997. Fran was an all-around good cook and in spare time she enjoyed traveling and reading. She was outgoing, organized, and loved by everyone.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Jeff Fields of Bellville; children (and spouses) Tricia & Roger Greene of Murrells Inlet, SC, Megan Fields & Emad Adiyeh of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeffrey Fields Jr. & Melanie Thompson of Greenwich, Melody & Leonard Parks of Mansfield, and Jeremiah & Jamie Fields of Butler; nine grandchildren Jacob Greene, Michael Thompson, Raynn Fields, Hunter Fields, Noah Fields, Nathan Parks, Orien Parks, Julia Parks, and Zachary Fields; numerous siblings; and special friends Joe & Kathy Hopkins, Don & Judy Engelhart, and Lori Graham.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Although no public service will be held in Fran’s memory, her family hopes that you will hold her in your heart as you remember her in your own special way.
