Over the years Floyd and his family spent many days planting and transplanting trees on the family farm. He also enjoyed working in the garden and taking care of his flowers and vegetables.
In his earlier years, Floyd had spent many of summer days digging and forming the ponds on his property that he thoroughly enjoyed fishing in or admiring from the bankside. He also liked his horses and trail riding in the area. He previously served as a 4-H advisor for the Hats and Chaps Club. When he was able, Floyd also enjoyed the time he spent with his family traveling and exploring the United States.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather that will be missed by his family and many friends.
