Florence "Katie" Barnhart

Florence “Katie” Barnhart, 94, of Bucyrus and former Galion resident, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 19, 2014 at the The Inn at Orchard Park.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Carl and Tina Seeger.
She married Elsworth Baldwin and he preceded her in death in June of 1970. Katie later married Barney Barnhart and he preceded in her in death in 1999.
Katie worked at the former Power Equipment/North Electric for several years, but retired as activities director from the Rosewood Manor. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children; her son, Father Gary Baldwin of Los Alamos, NM, her two daughters, Marsha and husband James Hoelscher of Houston, TX, Terry and husband Skip Strohl of Pinehurst, NC, 9 grandchildren; Matt Trouten, Emily Moore, Curtis Strohl, Derek Strohl, Mike Baldwin, Jeff Baldwin, Heidi Baldwin, Tim Donnersbach and Dorothy Magrum, several great grandchildren, her brother Jimmy Seeger of FL and her sister Nancy Schultz of Columbus, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Richard Joe Baldwin and Fred Baldwin.
Friends may call from 10 a.m to 11 a.m Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Gospel Baptist Church, 5670 St. Rt. 19, Galion where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Monty Trammel officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
