Florence Lunette (Harvey) Hawk, age 92, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003, beloved wife of the late Russell B. Hawk.
Survivors include: one son, John (Jan) Dorion, of Mansfield, five daughters Luana (Leroy) King, of Grass Lake, Michigan, Martha (Larry) Lehman, of Mansfield, Marie (Dwayne) Washer, of Mansfield, Janet Hawk and friend Barbara Slayton, of Billings Missouri and Carol (Paul) Robison-Hinzman, of Fredericktown, a sister Isabelle (Marshall) Adams, of Loudonville, also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Florence was born in Shreve, Ohio to Joseph and Edna (Beard) Harvey on September 26, 1910. Her parents preceded her in death and also Joseph an infant brother.
She married Leo Dorion on August 2, 1932. He was killed in an accident in Cleveland, Ohio February 11, 1945. She married Russell B. Hawk of Shelby, Ohio on June 30, 1946.
Florence was employed at Overlook and Hillcrest Nursing Homes and J.B. Foote Foundry, in Fredericktown. They spent many years farming and raising their family. She was a long time member of the Mothers of twins club. Florence will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home, in Fredericktown, Tuesday from 1-3PM and 6-8PM, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11AM.
