F. Paul “PC” Campbell

F. Paul “PC” Campbell, age 81 of Galena, died Saturday morning November 25, 2006 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.
He was born on September 23, 1925 in Dayton to the late Forrest and Mildred (Wahn) Campbell. Charter member of the Vans Valley Community Church, Linden Lodge No. 637 F&AM and Achbar Grotto. Paul was a member of a Round and Square dance band in the late 40’s and 50’s, enjoyed flying airplanes and was an avid hunter. He was a WWII Marine Corps veteran and spent nine months in China after WWII and had been to the Great Wall. He retired as a service manager from Goetzman Chrysler Dodge and had worked in the automotive field for 55 years.
He is survived by his wife: June W. (Whitington) Campbell and they were married May 23, 1986 in Sunbury; daughter: Sheila (Blake) Massey of Pensacola, FL.; sons: Stephen (Trina) Campbell of Lewis Center, Wes (Janet) Campbell of Pickerington; step-daughter: Chris (Blaine) Mankins of Centerburg. Grandchildren: Terri, Alicia, Angie, Jayne, Amy and Wes Jr. Former wife: Betty Campbell.
He was proceeded by brother: Ralph Campbell.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. with Pastors Harold Holmes and Bob Neal officiating. Interment with military honors by the Delaware County Veterans Assoc. will follow in the Fancher Cemetery.
