  • I have so many memories of us growing up. We always had such a great time from fishing in the pond, to the mud runs, to just playing in the woods. You will truly be missed, Evan. My deepest condolences to Dee and Eric and the entire family. Love you all.

  • This makes my heart so sad for Evan and all of the people he has impacted. I called my mom yesterday morning to tell her and she just burst into tears. Evan use to volunteer with my mom and my moms best friend, Carmen up at Harrison street elementary tending to the pond and gardens. We grew out of touch shortly after middle school started and that makes me so sad. He was such a sweet guy, and always so funny. ❤️ So many prayers to his loved ones.

  • Dee,Eric & Little Eric (as I know him), Aunt Ann & the rest of the family……….😢😢😢
I am having a very hard time with this. Can not even imagine what the family is going thru?
May God wrap his arm around all of you with comfort of knowing Evan will never hurt again and will be forever happy in the house of the lord 🙏
My boys and I have known ERIC and EVAN since they were born.
Evan was always so much fun to be with a little ornery at times but I loved his smile. After all these years our children have continued to keep in touch and stay friends!
Dee I will tell you as my Grandfather Potts told me when my father passed, “Dee it is Not supposed to happen this way, we are not suppose to bury our children!!!”
My Prayers and Love are with the whole family! If there is anything I can do Please let me know!

  • Dee and Eric,
I am so sorry. I did not have Evan in class, but I did follow him some in school. He attended Harrison Street elementary where my wife was librarian. Our hearts reach out to you. We cannot attend the calling hours because of a medical issue, but you are in our thoughts.
