Eva F. Blair, age 82 of Columbus and formerly of Delaware passed away Saturday morning, May 21, 2016 at home.

She was born on May 9, 1934 in McDermott, Ohio to the late James S. and Waverly J. (Wooten) Hemming. A lifelong homemaker who cared for the needs of her family, she was a simple woman. A dedicated mother, she enjoyed gardening and canning her garden delights. She was also a wonderful cook, as her family expressed there was nothing better than her fried chicken.  Eva will be remembered for her love of family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her family include children: Roger (Barb) Hemming of Circleville, Robert Hemming of Florida, Steve Blair of Delaware, Joni (Rolan) Gunnoe of Marion, John Blair of Florida, Bryan and Lonnie Blair of Columbus, 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brothers Carl (Margie) and Charles Hemming of Circleville, Chester (Bubie) Hemming of Grove City, sisters Joann (Don) Crabtree, Janet Bridwell, and Geneva Hemming all of Waverly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years Ozzie Blair in 1990.

Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr., Delaware.
