Ethel M. Morr, 86, of State Route 314, Mount Gilead, Ohio died Thursday, April 28, 2005 in Knox Community Hospital.

She was born in Ashland, Ohio on October 6, 1918, the daughter of the late William and Nettie (Jackenhimer) Kendall. She co-owned and operated the Morr’s Department Store, Morr’s Hardware Stores, and Morr’s Laundromats in Perrysville until retiring. She also resided for many years in Estero, Florida. Ethel attended the Johnsville Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and traveling.

She is survived by two sons Donald (Mary) Morr of Homosassa Springs, Florida, and Roger (Shelby) Morr of Mount Gilead, Ohio; two daughters Norma (George) Ramsier of Wooster, Ohio, and Janet Collins of Ft. Myers, Florida; nine grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a brother Harry Kendall of Ashland, Ohio.

Her husband, Robert E. Morr, whom she married Dec. 24, 1938, a son Eddie Morr, a granddaughter Karen Morr, and two brothers Willard and Denzel Kendall also preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Craven Funeral Home on Monday from 10 a.m. until noon. Pastor Joe Graham will conduct graveside services Monday, May 2, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Trinity White Church Cemetery, State Route 89, Ashland. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.
