Esther W. Palmer

Esther W. Palmer, 86, formerly of 4520 Marion Avenue, Galion, died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Galion Community Hospital after an extended illness.

Born August 8, 1919 in Steubenville, she was the daughter of the late David W. Still and Bertha Sowders Still. She was preceded in death on August 5, 1999 by her husband, Herbert D. Palmer whom she married on October 26, 1952.

She was a member of the Galion Seventh-day Adventist Church. She worked as both a waitress and a laundry room attendant in the Galion area.

She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Richard of Coshocton, Irma and Edwin Amore of Coshocton and Wilma Baker of Coshocton; three sons and daughters-in-law,
William and Marilyn Bloom of Tacoma, Wash., David and Sherry Bloom of Coshocton and
Irvin and Connie Bloom of Guernsey County, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Fruth officiating. Interment will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
