Mansfield: Esther Morrison of Mansfield passed away Thursday morning October 21, 2010 in St. Anne’s Meade Nursing Home in Southfield, Michigan. She was 89.
Esther was born October 2, 1921 in Westerville to Charles and Loureign (Fisher) Tuller.
She worked several years at the National Cash Register Company.
Esther was a member of both Mansfield’s garden club and women’s club. She loved to quilt and created dozens of handmade quilts sharing them with family. Esther was also a faithful member of First English Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law C.L. “Larry” (Delores) Morrison of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Merle (Lisa) Morrison of Troy, Michigan; grandson John Andrew Morrison of Chesapeake, Virginia and granddaughter Lora (Rodney) Deaton of Granbury, Texas; four great grandchildren Ashley and Angela Speakman and Jory and Neil Morrison.
Along with her parents Esther was preceded in death by her husband William Edwin Morrison on October 19, 2003.
The Morrison family will receive friends Monday, October 25, 2010 from 3-7pm at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning from 10-11am in the funeral home where funeral services will begin at 11am. Pastor Andrew Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
