Emma F. Tadijanac
August 20, 1934 ‒ August 01, 2008
MANSFIELD: Emma F. Tadijanac, 73, of Lawnsdale Avenue, Mansfield, died Tuesday afternoon April 1, 2008 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a long illness.
She was born August 20, 1934 in Hewitt, West Virginia to Mason and Reba (Johnson) Miller, and had lived in Mansfield since 1953.
Though she considered herself a homemaker, Emma had worked at Hartman Electric, retiring in 1968.
She was a supporter of CitiChurch. Described as a great mediator, Emma was solid as a rock, as she placed her faith in the Solid Rock: the Lord Jesus, and was faithful for the past 35 years.
Always busy knitting, sewing and crafting in some form or another, Emma donated the work of her hands to others. She dearly loved her family and kept busy expressing her love in a tangible form.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tim & Sheri Tadijanac of Mansfield; her daughter Linda Tadijanac of Mansfield; her daughter and son-in-law Lorie & Gary Glover of Ashland; grandchildren Jessica Cortez of Kodiak, Alaska, Elizabeth Cunningham of Columbus, Nichole Tadijanac of Shelby, Timothy J. Tadijanac and Sarah Tadijanac both of Mansfield and a special grandson Robbie Tadijanac of Mansfield whom she raised as her own child; great grandchildren Isabel Cortez and Rickey Cortez both of Kodiak, Alaska, and Gracie Tadijanac of Shelby; her former husband John Tadijanac of Mansfield; brothers and sisters Frank Miller, Sam and his wife Gayle Miller, Autumn Holestin, Diana Hall, Kathryn Miller all of Madison, West Virginia, William Miller of Gallipolis, and Danny Miller of Mansfield; and a cherished friend Sylvia “Bit” Johnson, who drove Emma on wonderful day trips and spent quality time with her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Boggs, and brothers Ted Miller and Robin Miller.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 350 Marion Avenue (Former Finefrock Funeral Home).
