Emma E. Miller, 93, of Galion, died Friday, Mar. 21, 2008 at Village Care Center in Galion after a recent decline in health.

Born Sept. 30, 1914 in Crawford Co., she was the daughter of the late William Pfahler and Maude Bender Pfahler. She was preceded in death on Dec. 13, 1991 by her husband, Weldon E. Miller whom she married in August of 1937.

Emma was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker all of her life and after her husband’s death, she lived alone to the age of 91.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Verne Carr and Dottie and Ross Leatherow, all of Galion; one son, William Miller of Albuquerque, N. M.; 11 grandchildren, Valerie Eichhorn, Steve Vicki Carr, Joyce Worley, Crisse Ken Sand, Marsha Gordy Caldwell, Connie Ralph Anderson, Chris Anna Leatherow, Matthew Campo, Pauline Robert Ade, Julie Tim Miller and Lori Miller; 26 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Pfahler and Glen Pfahler and her twin brother, Reuben Pfahler.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Mar. 24, 2007 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 with Rev. Matt Wheeler and Hospice Chaplain Jed Brake officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
