MANSFIELD ~ Eloise Weaver, formerly of Brookpark Drive, Mansfield, passed away Monday morning April 5, 2010 in Miami Valley Hospital of Dayton. She was 88.
Born March 2, 1922 in Galion, Eloise was a 1940 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, and remained a lifelong Mansfield resident, moving to the Dayton area only recently, to be near her son.
A homemaker, Mrs. Weaver was a member of First Congregational Church, and volunteered in the gift shop at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Lyndon and Wanda Smaltz of West Milton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Albert Smaltz, and by her second husband Richard Weaver.
Friends may call Thursday, April8, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 350 Marion Avenue (Former Finefrock Funeral Home), where her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. David Hartzfeld will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions to the Richland County Humane Society may be made at the funeral home.
