Elizabeth M. Lamb, 89, of Galion, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Center in Galion.

Born Apr. 20, 1918 in Bucyrus, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth M. Thoman Rensch. She was preceded in death on Feb. 23, 1991 by her husband, Paul G. Lamb whom she married on Nov. 24, 1937.

She was a lifetime Galion resident, an avid gardener, a huge Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye fan.

Surviving are her one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Ted Vaughen of Marengo; two grandchildren, Ted Sheila Vaughen of Niceville, Fla. and Rae Jean Doug Wise of Marengo; five great grandchildren, Joshua Kovacs, Alexis Wise, Lauren Vaughen and Teddy and Tyler Vaughen; one great great granddaughter, Angelina Kovacs; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Foust and Doris Lamb, both of Galion; one brother-in-law, Dale Lamb of Galion and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Lamb; two sisters, Juanita Fleiner and Margie Finical; one niece, Sharon Mehl and two great great grandsons.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p. m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Monty Trammel officiating.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Richardson-Davis Funeral Home.
