  • I really miss you Bette. Thank you for being my music partner for so many years. You were always thoughtful and you were always great fun. I will cherished the memories of you every time I play my flute.

To Roger and the rest of the family and friends, thank you for sharing Bette with all of us. She was a good friend to all us. Prayers, Strength, and Love to all of you as she transitions to being an Angel in Heaven. I’m sure God has a beautiful pipe organ for her to play.

  • Some of my earliest memories are of running around the library at Harrison Street, both during and after school, while Mrs. Roberts calmly navigated around me. She helped foster a love of reading, was just a joy to be around, and made my childhood brighter to have known her. The memory of her trying to get past the other teachers to dip a pretzel into the chocolate fountain during a school party will remain one of my happiest.

To the family, I am overjoyed to have known Mrs. Roberts, and I know that she goes in the love and light of God.

  • Roger, Jason, & Brian, I was so sorry to hear about your wife and mother. I will be on a RV road trip with Bob’s wife when Bette’s service is but will be thinking of her on the 17th/18th.
I enjoyed all the years I worked with Bette, both at the Galena 6th and HSE. Also hearing her all the years that she was our organist.
There wasn’t a doubt who Paul and I were asking to play at our wedding. Bette’s reaction was one I will always remember. She made it appear like we were doing her a great honor by asking her!
    She will be missed!

  • Roger and family. I’m sorry to hear of Bette’s passing. She had a long journey and did it so uncomplaining showing others who face the same diagnosis with dignity. I met Bette in Searchlight and found her to be entertaining. Her presence will be missed by all. May God bless you as you go forward I will not be able to attend her services but will there in thought
