Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Bailey

Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Rush-Bailey, age 44, of Gambier, died Saturday June 4, 2005 at the Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon. Beth was born September 19, 1960 in Mansfield and graduated from Malabar High School in Mansfield. Beth received her associate degree in mental health counseling from the North Central Technical School in Mansfield. Beth had been employed by Help Line in Mansfield and as a counselor for the Freedom Center in Mount Vernon and had been employed by Concepts of Community Living for several years. Beth also served as a volunteer for the Knox County Head Start. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.
Surviving are her husband James M. Bailey of Gambier; her daughters Makayla E. Bailey and Meredith Morgan Bailey both of the home; her stepson Joshua J. Bailey of Gambier; her mother Florence “Betsy” (Campbell) Rush of Lucas; her father William E. “Bill” Rush of Dayton; her paternal grandmother Betty Gray of Cushing, Oklahoma and her brother Michael Rush of Arlington, Texas. Her maternal grandparents Wilbur and Florence Campbell and her paternal grandfather Robert Rush preceded Beth in death.
Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon where funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Kevin Pellinen officiating. Entombment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
