Eileen F. Stillions

February 12, 1942 ‒ January 31, 2021

Marion, Ohio

Eileen F. Stillions, age 78, of Marion, died on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at her home.

On February 12, 1942, Eileen was born in Delaware, OH, one of six children of the late George Sr. and Lottie (Converse) Cerny.  As a family, they moved to Marion, Ohio. She graduated from Harding High School in the class of 1960.

Eileen married the love of her life, Ronald Stillions Sr. on March 17, 1967.  They celebrated 53 years and 9 months together, and she counted each year a blessing. Together they lovingly raised 7 children: Deborah, Patty, Ronald Jr., Richard, Tracy, Denise, and William.

Eileen was a hard worker starting out at GC Murphy’s, where we still hear stories of what a great worker she was behind the counter. To the many years she spent working at Eaton; many of times have we heard of how hard she worked and how dedicated she was to doing a good job. Ron and Eileen also owned Ron’s Dew Drop Thru for many years. In her later years she was the cook at the Prospect Senior Center and took great pride in making sure everyone got something they liked to eat. Eileen was a social butterfly and would talk to everyone she saw.  She was a member of the Big Island Homemakers Club, rode motorcycles with the GWRRA and hosted many hog roasts throughout the years, and was a member of Rise Church, where she truly loved her lunch ladies group.

Her family was her pride and joy and whether you saw her or not she was always thinking of each and everyone of you. When she saw one of the grand kids or great grand kids, you would hear stories for weeks of the things they did, talked about and how much she enjoys seeing and spending time with them.

She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Ronald Stillions Sr.; four children: Patty (Mark) Weller, Marion, Tracy (Deb) Rife, Murfreesboro, TN, Denise (Mike) Newman, Richwood, and William (Lila) Stillions, Prospect; 19 Grand Children: Brandianne (Johnny) Arthur II, Candianne Stone, Sherry (Mark) Myers, Brent (Stephanie) Bosh, Jessica (Susan) Weller, Dustin (Kaylea) Weller, Amanda (Craig) Gandert, Ronald (Jenna) Stillions III, SGT Steven Stillions, Corin (William) Young, Amber (Dave) Finchman, Tim Smith, Jody (Tracy) Cook, Jason Cook, Jesica Cook, Grant (Sarah) Newman, Garrett Newman, Rachel Stillions, and LCpl Wesley Stillions; 38 Great Grand Children; 3 Great Great Grand Children; two brothers: Arley, and Arnold Cerny; one sister, Marcia McElice; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law whom she loved dearly: Dorothy and Porter Warne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
