Edwin G. “Ed” Borham, age 84, of Cardington, passed away at his home, Friday afternoon, March 17, 2017.

On September 14, 1932, Ed was born in Pomeroy, OH, the son of the late Howard and Kathryn (Reed) Borham.

Ed married Martha Ann Brake on May 29, 1969 in Cardington.  They happily shared the last 47 years together as husband and wife.

For many years, he worked as a pipe fitter at Marion Power Shovel.

Ed loved being outdoors mowing his lawn, or just sitting on the porch taking in the scenery.  In his younger years he enjoyed camping with his family and riding motorcycles.  He had a good sense of humor, always joking around with everyone he knew.

Ed is survived by his wife, Martha, of Cardington; four children: Sharon Bolding of Washington, Sheila Maniaci of Cardington, Corey Borham of Cardington, Cristi Borham-Lanier of Virginia; nine grandchildren: Trent (Bryanna) Borham, Wendy (Bob) Baker, Angela (Kevin) Johns, Julie (Chris) Myers, David (Andrea) Morganson, Nikki (Joe) Bemiller, Troy Byrd, Heath (Lili) Stansberry, Scott (Julie) Stansberry ; 21 great grandchildren, Kayden Borham, Kayla Morgason, Harli Morgason-Wise, Austin Casto, Kimberly Morgason, Shyla (Derrick) Hilleary, Ruby Bemiller, Rebecca, Sherrice and Matthew Myers, Emily, Victoria, Willow, Sam and Magnus Morgason, Lilian, Oliver and Elijah Stansberry, Caylin, Jaynae and Emylie Stansberry; and two great-great grandchildren: Kason Morgason and Aubrey Hilleary.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne Byrd; an infant son, Gerald Borham; and all of his brothers and sisters.

Private family services will be held for the Borham family.
