Edith Marie Sarver

Edith Marie Sarver, 91, of Delaware, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 10, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Marysville, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 17, 1925 in Delaware County to the late Howard and Ethel (Johnson) Feasel.

A lifelong Delaware resident, Edith worked at McClelland’s Five and Dime, Scott’s in Marysville, Nestle’s in Sunbury and Dr. Sivashanker in Ostrander. She was a member of the Marion First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Quilting Club and Bible Study class at the Delaware Bible Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and cooking, especially making her homemade noodles. She also enjoyed going to the YMCA in Marion to swim.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Lois Armstrong of Delaware, Carolyn (Bob) Corbin of Marysville, Beverly Johnson of Marengo, Sally Reichelderfer of Mansfield and Valeta (Dean) Goon of Marion; grandchildren, Kim (Ron) Lehnert, Tracey Stevenson, Michelle (Matt) Suiter, Kevin (Jessica) Corbin, Kathy (Bryian) Burson, Charlene Johnson and Stephen (Kelly) Johnson, Lyndsey (Tyson) Porter, Katlyn (Matt) Carroll, Olivia (Brian) Swank, Hunter (Rachel) Goon and Juliette (Chris) Massey; 11 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren; brother, Robert Feasel of Florida; sister, Norma Jean Feasel of Sunbury; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband Charles, grandson Zachary Reichelderfer, great grandson James Armstrong, brothers Herman, Harry, Paul, Leland, Lawrence, Roger, Roland “Sonny” and twins Gary and Terry Feasel, sisters Pauline Young, Mary Jane Feasel and Margery McGrady and son-in-laws Chuck Johnson and Don Armstrong.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm with her grandson Hunter Goon officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
