Edith “Jackie” Letts

Edith “Jackie” Letts, age 81, of Fredericktown, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born on March 20, 1932 in Mannington, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Hayes) Parsons. Jackie worked for TLC Group Homes but retired from Fredericktown Local Schools. She was a 50-year member of the Fredericktown First Baptist Church where she belonged to the Women’s Circle Club. Jackie also enjoyed reading and hand sewing, but most important to her was the quality time she spent with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Robert (Courtney Adkins) Letts of Fredericktown, Mark (Scott Price) Letts of Columbus, Michael (Joy) Letts of Fredericktown, two daughters, Cheryl Harmer of Mansfield and Janet (Rich) Hiles of Raymore, Missouri, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a brother, Thomas (Wilma) Parsons of Mansfield.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dean Letts, a grandson, Jason Letts and an infant brother.
The family will observe a graveside service Thursday July 11, 2013 at 2 PM at Mansfield Memorial Park. The Snyder Funeral Home of Fredericktown is honored to serve the family of Edith “Jackie” Letts.
