Earl O. Futrell

Earl O. Futrell, 72, of 477 McDonald Avenue, Galion, died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born August 21, 1932 in Brooksville, Miss., he was the son of the late Marion Futrell and Lucy Alice Gazaway Futrell Boykin. He married Roberta A. “Bobbi” Cole Futrell on March 12, 1966 and she survives.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He collected coins, enjoyed camping and loved his family very much. He was a prep cook at Bucks Restaurant in Lexington since 1998.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Mark Carroll of Galion and
Donna and Eric Clark of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Kayla Bibb Carroll, Janell and Rachell Clark; two brothers, Olen Boykin of Mobile, Ala. and Eugene Boykin of Macon, Miss.; two sisters, Mary Donald of Citris Heights, Calif. and Eva Mae Harper of Prichard, Ala.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 4, with Pastor Andy Grimes officiating. Interment will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
