  • When we first moved here, and our kids were all in day care together, Dylan would always stop whatever he was doing to wave to me when I was dropping our daughter off in the morning, or picking her up at the end of the day. While the other kids seemed to shy away from grownups, Dylan made a point of making that connection. When elementary school started, he’d wave to me from the bus window.

And he always had a big smile on his face. I used to marvel that this child never seemed to have a bad day and it seemed he just needed to share that joy with others.

That is how I will remember him. Smiling and waving hello to me in the morning.

  • Matt and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you strength, courage, hope, and faith during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  • Matt and Michele. My sincere condolences to you and your family. My continued thoughts and prayers will be with you not only during this very difficult time but throughout the coming days. I’m sending you strength and peace, along with guidance and love.

  • We are so very sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Dylan… We are truly heartbroken.. We have known Dylan and his family for years, ever since the start of tee ball…. Matt coached the boys for several seasons… Such a wonderful kid.. Last year at a football game my fiance who is a police officer was working.. He said Dylan came up to him and the other police officer working and shook their hands and thanked them for what they do… Such a truly wonderful thing for him to do… That spoke volumes and just showed the amazing character Dylan had… He will be missed greatly by all of us in the community… Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Yoha family at this tragic time.

  • Michelle, Matt and Delaney – I am absolutely speechless! My heart aches for all of you! May God keep his loving arms around you during this difficult time. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out! I am sending love and comfort and hugs! God bless you all and may perpetual light shine upon Dylan – may he rest in peace!

  • Matt, Michelle, Delaney. Please know you have been in our hearts and minds for the last week. We are numb about all of it.

Dylan will be treasured forever. He was so full of fun and crazy. Always willing to help. Always joking. Always a friend. From baseball and football when he was younger, the hours we laughed and talked at practices.
To buckeye rolling, band trips, and competitions, he was always there always willing always helping. Great person. Blessed to have known him.

Peace to you and all, you are being thought about and prayed for by so many. This is not our final home. Until then…
